Steel can be recycled over and over without compromising its strength or quality. Plus, Winroc is able to supply custom lengths to whatever specifications you require, minimizing wasted material and the number of cuts you have to make on the job site.
Steel has other environmental benefits that make it greener than wood for construction. Foremost is the minimal impact of steel-stud manufacturing on forest habitat compared with lumber harvesting for wooden studs. Steel also does not support the growth of mould and fungus or give off volatile organic compounds, promoting good air quality in your home or building.
