Acoustical Ceilings

Acoustical Ceilings
Benefits

Newspaper. Old acoustical tiles. Steel mill slag-waste. Acoustical tile today is made from the recycled by-products of industrial processes and post-consumer materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill. Winroc supplies acoustical ceiling tile with up to 82 percent recycled content. That's much less waste going to landfill and far less energy expended collecting and processing raw materials into new acoustical ceiling tiles. Ceiling tile suspension systems with up to 30 percent recycled content are also available.

Winroc has partnered with Armstrong since 1999 to support its ceiling tile recycling program in Canada and the U.S. Contractors can turn in acoustical ceiling tiles at all of Winroc's collection points across Canada and in parts of the U.S. for recycling at no charge, saving the dumping fees charged when disposing of tiles the old way.

We're proud to work with Armstrong to reduce the environmental footprint of the ceiling industry. Ask Winroc's Green Champions about green ceiling products.
