Armstrong's Ceiling Tile Recycling Program was the first of its kind when it was launched in 1999. Winroc has partnered with Armstrong to support this terrific program since 1999. Winroc's warehouses in Canada and the U.S. serve as the regional collection points where ceiling contractors drop off tiles for recycling. Once a warehouse has enough for a truckload, it transports the tiles to the nearest Armstrong ceiling recycling plant.
Armstrong operates six ceiling manufacturing plants in the U.S. in Florida, Oregon, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Ohio, producing the largest selection of ceiling tiles made from recycled materials in North America. Armstrong's multiple plants reduce driving distances for Winroc’s tile delivery trucks, holding down the resulting greenhouse gas emissions.
